Deligion

Our series we began Easter Sunday, 2012.

The premise of the series was that if religion connects us to the spirit, and to God, then DEligion would be what we call it when we take the spirit out of the equation, when we are left with rules, but lose love. It wasn’t what God ever intended for the Church to be. I wanted a dirty, gross image. Deligion is what should turn our stomachs about where the church is headed. The spots were very easy, just a few photoshop brushes used strategically, as if water had dropped on the letters, and the ink had bled away. It was a VERY easy graphic, and it’s appropriate for the title overall.
